An Irish Blessing

Today was my last full day in Provo, Utah for a little while. Or, as a good friend said, it's my last full day away from home for a little while. I am super stoked to go home and see my fam, but goodbyes are a bit difficult. They inevitably make me think about a song that we sang at the end of every year in choir...and everyone knows that music magnifies emotion.

Watch it here. Pardon the very choral arrangement...this was the only version i could find that was exactly like the version i sang. (P.S. their first language is German...don't they sing English amazingly?)

****Quote of the Day****
May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
The rain fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again, until we meet again
May God hold you in the palm
of His hand.

I love all of the amazing people with whom I have crossed paths this semester. I am so grateful for the examples that y'all are to me, and the amazing individual you are helping me to become just by being you. I wish you luck in all of your upcoming endeavors. Remember who you are. Make good choices. Drive Safely. Return with Honor. Don't Take any Wooden Nickels. God Be With You 'Till We Meet Again.

Sorry to be a bit of a Debbie Downer...on a lighter note, here are my words of the day
~~Words of the Day~~
pariah
\puh-RY-uh\
n. an outcast
Note: The lady who pronounces this word says it really funnily.

foofaraw
\FOO-fa-raw\
n. 1) frills and fancy finery. 2) a disturbance or to-do over a trifle.
Note: The original second word of the day was parable, and i wanted something a little more exotic. Yay for the archive of cool words!!!

Anywho, I should prolly either sleep, study for my last final, or finish taming the wild disaster area that is my room half-packed. Goodnight to all!
