I would like to make a quick note: In German, all of the nouns are capitalized...and since i don't know English that well...i feel the need to capitalize all of my nouns.
Anywho, from there it was essentially a typical Sunday. Our performance went well. Though we still seemed to run out of breath in all of the usual places, and though a few of the dissonant notes sounded a bit more dissonance-y than they should have, it went well, and i feel like we were able to convey the spirit of the words. =D
We dashed to the Cannon Center in record time to tame the chorus of grumbly tummies. Then we waltzed home...full, fat, and sassy. Jessie and I decided that the best course of action would be to take a nap. We started off in separate locations, but Jessie has a tendency to toss, turn, and thrash...little did i know that this tendency translates over into her waking moments. She rolled off of her bed and onto mine and we squished onto my bed for one of the most chill naps i've had in a while.
I woke up to a Kelsey-Monster knocking on the door. I then proceeded to elbow Jessie to get her to open the door. We both sluggishly moved towards alertness and
bounced to the Cannon for dinner.

This post was more like a journal entry, i'm not sure how i feel about that...
ReplyDeleteHahaha! I liked it. It actually reminded me of a few things I want to record (mainly the most chill nap ever.)
ReplyDeleteThat nap was seriously one of my fondest memories.
