Preppin' for the Mish

Hello, friends!
Long time no speak! I know I haven't updated my blog in forever and a day. Other things just always seem to creep up, and there really isn't enough time in one day to do everything you try to set your mind to.

The main purpose of this post is to inform y'all that my mission blog is up and running. That's right! I've spent the last little bit of free time I've had creating a website specifically for all of the everything that will come with the whole mission experience. I vote that you take a moment to check it out. Feel free to ooooh and aaaaahhh at all of the appropriate times. It's a pretty good looking website - if I do say so myself. :)

The Best Mission Blog Ever!

Feel free to give any feedback you want. Anything that tickles your fancy. :)

I guess, while I'm typing, I may as well give an update on my life. I'm in one of those in-between places at the moment. It's not my favorite thing ever, but I am learning patience, and I'm sure I'll value that somewhere down the road. The past few weeks have been the same thing day in and day out. But it is relaxing, and I love taking the opportunity to unwind after a stressful semester or two of college life. Besides, I am going to look back on these restful moments in a couple of months, and I am going to wish that I had taken better advantage of the lazy lounging.

For the record... I had my wisdom teeth taken out yesterday, so I am on pain killers. If what I am typing doesn't make any sense, let's blame it on the prescriptions, shall we? :P That and all of the ice-cream I have ingested in the last 36 hours...

Anywho... Mission prep goes well. I'm trying to study everything like crazy. I know that I've been preparing for this my whole life, but it helps my nerves calm down when I take the time to commit things to memory.

I finally found all of the skirts I needed! Yeish! can I just tell you that it is the hardest thing to find skirts that are appropriate sister-missionary-length?! Probably one of the hardest things I've ever done in my life. Of course, that might just be because of the way I'm built. I'm not saying I have super long legs or anything, but they definitely make up most of my body. That whole mid-calf thing... yeah... super hard. But hey! I've got all of the skirts I need! Now... to find shoes and a missionary bag. I don't even know where to start looking, but that's okay. These things tend to work out in the end.

Other than that, life is pretty swell. I'm just trying to enjoy every minute of it. :) This will probably be the last post I make on this blog for a very long while. So until we touch base again....

Remember who you are!
Naked Choices!
Don't get Lost!
No wooden Nickels!
Know that I love you More than My Luggage!
Drive Safe!
And all that wonderful Bliss!

Keep your fingers crossed and arms folded for me! :)
