Moments of Wonderful Bliss

P.S. I'm sorry that it has taken me sooooo long to post =D Especially since all y'all have had to look at for the past few days has been the work of a hacker...which, though it is funny, isn't really insight into my brain.

P.P.S. Does it count as a P.S. if it comes before the script?

I don't know how many of you have ever tried to take pictures of three young boys who love cameras and all fight for the spotlight, but let me assure you that these are only a few precious examples of how that can turn out:
This is adorable David =D He just recently turned three, and  he is  super cute...he can't say my name, so he just says "wees"... Warm-fuzzy!

The next few pictures are pictures David took while Kyle and I were playing basketball. He's actually better than I am...i think he should pick up photography as a hobby.

Action Shot

No, I'm not filing my nails on the basketball ;)

Right before this shot, David was telling me that he wanted pictures taken of him while he played basketball...notice that Kyle is STILL way off in the background fetching the ball that bounced that way a few pictures ago.

It went in... he's pretty much like a mini-Jimmer

Kyle is trying to make the basketball roll across both of his arms...does that make sense? No, but i'm sure y'all know what I'm talking about.

And then David tried

Super cute! He totes loves being in the lime-light...his mom labelled it as being a ham, and i think that is super appropriate.

Okay, here's where the fun begins...As you may have noticed, the kid in the middle (Lincoln) hasn't been in any pictures until now. The kid loves electronics, and he didn't feel like coming outside to play basketball with us, but i needed some pictures with him as that might have been the last time i will ever watch these kids that I've watched pretty consistently throughout the past 7 years of my life. So this was my first attempt. At the last second, Kyle (on the right) poked me in the eye with that cookie (also effectively smacking Lincoln in the face with his arm).

Take two! Lincoln pulled the camera forward with one hand and stuffed his iTouch in front of the lens with the other.

Okay, so David isn't in this one at all because they pushed him off the couch in their mad-dash for front row spot. It was hectic!

This is three layers of boy hands =D

this is David's thumb

Finally, i get them all to line up, i get them to look at the camera, i get my whole head in the shot...and David goes and pokes Kyle's eye...go figure.

Even though David is looking at the TV with one of the most blank stare I have ever seen in my life, this was the final product...it's nearly perfect. =D

Who knew that taking pictures could be like pulling teeth? And who knew that pulling teeth could be SO MUCH FUN! =D
~~Words of the Day~~
prodigious
\pruh-DIJ-us\
Pronunciation
1) resembling or befitting a prodigy: strange, unusual
2) exciting amazement or wonder
3) extraordinary in bulk, quantity, or degree: enormous

Okay, So I am TOTALLY using this one as slang..."That's prodigious!" Of course, that's definition number two...definitely thinking this needs to happen...that's a really cool word for what it means...and I'd heard it before, but i think it needs to be used as slang...just saying

vertiginous
\vur-TIJ-uh-nuhs\
1) Affected with vertigo; giddy; dizzy.
2) Causing or tending to cause dizziness.
3) Turning round; whirling; revolving.
4) Inclined to change quickly or frequently; inconstant.

  1. These are precious!
    I miss babysitting!

and I'm also jealous you played basketball with them. I want to playyy!
and I definitely get what you mean about him rolling the basketball across his arms. I try to do that! and it reminds me of Aladdin when he rolls the apple down his arm to Jasmine. Anyway.

great job on your bangs, lady! They look nice!

    love you and miss you!!!

Also, as a completely and totally unrelated note whatsoever. I can still hack you whenever I'd like to. FYI

  3. Kelsey: Thanks...the kids ARE pretty adorable...and totally love having pictures taken ;) Thanks for understanding...and explaining it better than I ever could: your Aladdin reference was totally fitting. Thanks for complimenting my bangs. I think they turned out alright, though I do have to say that they are not my favorite ;) maybe better luck next time, right? Love you and miss you, too!

Jimmy: That's what you are...a hacker...plain and simple. In relation to you completely and totally unrelated note whatsoever- It will take a bit more effort than it did last time...I took extra precautions...don't get me wrong, i'm not saying that you couldn't do it, I'm just saying that it will take more than using the password you already know to hack into my e-mail where you can get access to change my password...I'm brilliant! =D (not to sound prideful or anything)

  5. Querstion: How on earth does that help? I mean, I believe you when you say that that's all you need, but I fail to see how it helps you. And how on earth did you get my ip address?
