Today I attended the farewell for my cousin. He is going on his mission to Hawaii, and his bishop thought that it would be a fantastic idea for his farewell to be themed around love for others (because that plays such a huge part in sharing the gospel with those around us). In one of the talks that was given, the following was said:
****Quote of the Day****
"A real neighbor is someone who greets you with "Good Morning" and then does everything in their power to make sure that it is. A real neighbor is someone who says things behind your back--all good things. A real neighbor is someone who smiles. A real neighbor is someone who leaves baked goods on your front step. A real neighbor is someone who invites you over to watch your home videos. Now the question is:
Are You A Real Neighbor?"
~~Unknown~~
Just to reiterate how important the small things are and how much of a difference they can make for an individual... I don't know if I can ever stress that enough...even just for myself.
Brilliant Bliss that is Sunday! Wonderful time spent with family! Fantastic Friends whom I love dearly! Tunnel singing is pretty much amazing! All that jazz!
****Quote #2 of the Day****
"Who am I to judge another when I walk imperfectly?
Savior, may I love my brother as I know thou lovest me."
~~Hymn 220: Lord, I Would Follow Thee~~
